TURNING DPS' WEBSITE INTO A LEAD-GENERATING MACHINE

We worked with DPS to build a new, prospect-orientated website with high-quality content and lead capture capability.

DPS had three websites. These websites, whilst full of useful content, were unoptimised, disconnected in their approach, and had no lead-generating content (eBooks, whitepapers) or landing pages in place.

To make matters worse, organic traffic to these websites was minimal. People just weren’t finding them. DPS knew they had to take action, and quickly.

DPS realised that the best option was to consolidate these websites into one, brand-new website as quickly as possible and then develop awareness of their brand through social media to help it stand out.

It was at this point DPS approached Huble Digital for website development, optimisation and content creation, as this would help them to “stand out” online, rebrand the business and grow their influence.

Huble Digital started by creating a complete Inbound programme for DPS — this included website build and development, search engine optimisation (SEO), content creation, and brand redesign. Everything was documented on a detailed Gantt chart.

Next, the team scraped all of the content from DPS’ current websites as it could be used in the future, and ran buyer persona workshops to refine messaging and build lead-generating content. The team developed an extensive sitemap for the new “launchpad” website, targeting specific keywords relevant to DPS’ industry sectors, service offerings and audience. To launch the website quickly, the team used Growth-Driven Design (GDD) as this would enable DPS to build the most strategically effective website in the shortest possible period of time.

DPS knew they needed to consolidate, optimise and rebrand their websites. For DPS, the main issue was being found organically on search — unless a searcher typed the business’ name exactly, they wouldn’t find them. Content was also a problem: the websites had a lot of useful and informative content, but had no assets or landing pages to help drive lead generation. The sales team also needed collateral to nurture prospects and demonstrate the business’ expertise.

GDD was essential to the success of the website build, development and optimisation process. GDD enabled the Huble Digital team to effectively hit the ground running, delivering DPS a functional website in a short space of time. 

As part of the process, the Huble Digital team agreed to build out new web pages on an ongoing basis, ensuring the DPS website continued to grow. 

With the website delivered so quickly, the team was able to focus their attention on:

  • Developing new content assets and landing pages to help support lead generation
  • Improving DPS’ brand awareness on social media by working closely with the in-house team
  • Optimising existing pages on the “launchpad” website based on performance
