Corinium’s site was built on Event Engine - a CMS designed specifically for conferences and events. While it enabled Corinium to manage speakers, agendas, payment, attendee registration and schedules – it was clunky and didn’t provide the flexibility and scalability that the Corinium marketing team needed.
The marketing team needed the ability to easily add and edit web pages in real time. This would enable them to add and remove speakers, update or modify event agendas and provide attendees with the most up-to-date information. Corinium also needed an integration between its independent systems to gain a more comprehensive view of customers and prospects. This included Corinium's email platform, website and CRM.
Corinium decided that the best approach was to migrate its websites (more than 350 pages) to HubSpot – an all-in-one CMS platform. Corinium approached Huble Digital, asking for support migrating the websites and creating a bespoke integration between HubSpot and Xero to track event registrations and payments.
To make website management easier for Corinium, Huble Digital built pages using customisable, easy-to-use templates, to allow Corinium’s marketing team to add, change or edit information on the website in real time.
The more complex pages used HubDB and dynamic tables that automatically pull event, speaker and sponsor information into the page. The team uploaded more than 200 sponsors and speakers as blog posts, as blogs can be tagged and pulled through to specific pages automatically. Lastly, the Huble Digital team wrote a detailed website guide (including troubleshooting tips) to help Corinium’s marketing team manage their HubSpot websites effectively moving forward.
With Event Engine – the main problem for Corinium was editing and updating event agendas to provide attendees with the most up-to-date information; which is absolutely crucial in the events space. Cornium, therefore, needed templates and modules which allowed them to easily update web pages without having to enlist their developer each time.
The integration between Corinium’s systems was also an issue. These systems were independent and disconnected, so getting an end-to-end view of customers and prospects was difficult. The team needed tools that could seamlessly integrate with each other to enable the team to see a ‘single source of truth’ in regards to their marketing and lead gen activity.
To successfully manage its corporate website and event microsites, the all-in-one HubSpot CMS was crucial for localising all Corinium’s marketing activity and enabling easy management of its websites.
Custom templates and modules were key for Corinium’s marketing and production teams to manage event pages in real time and update attendees on the go.
Due to the nature of the industry, the biggest hurdle was finding a software system that allowed Corinium to 1) manage attendees who wanted to register for the event and pay online, and 2) integrate with the finance department’s system, Xero. The decision for a custom integration removed unnecessary admin and friction which was crucial in creating a pleasant experience for Cornium and its attendees.

“We wanted to migrate our existing corporate website, microsites and assets over to a flexible and easy-to-use platform. HubSpot was the solution, and the Huble Digital team helped to build the websites and functionalities we needed.”
Corinium needed an agency with years of HubSpot knowledge and experience migrating websites as this would make its own migration as seamless and efficient as possible.
The Huble Digital team consisted of HubSpot specialists and website development & integration gurus. They know HubSpot inside out and have handled plenty of migrations in the past for both small and large organisations.
The team used their resources and expertise to migrate Corinium’s 16 websites (including implementing new templates and bespoke integrations) in under 3 months – 2 and a half to be exact!
