Job Role Summary
As a Software Quality Assurance Specialist, you are responsible for ensuring the quality of all development work that is delivered by the development team.
Huble Digital is a HubSpot agency and this means that you will primarily be QAing work in the HubSpot platform.
The level of this role is Senior, which means that you will be expected to contribute to the development and maintenance of the standards, processes and procedures to be used within the development team when it relates to Quality Assurance.
The role of Software QA Specialist requires that you have an excellent understanding of web standards, cross-browser compatibility, software security, software and web and user acceptance testing methodologies, best practice methods for functional and technical briefing, software design patterns, release management, deployment pipelines and change control best practices.
Key performance areas include:
- Ensure high quality and efficiency of testing: Ensure quality of website pages, landing pages, emailers, transactional scripts, integrations and other software created by the development team.
You will also be responsible for monitoring the progress of bug resolution on existing website pages, modules, templates, landings pages or emails as reported by the QA specialist or as reported by AMS. Finally, you will ensure that all bug resolution is correctly attended to and update the relevant QA document.
- Adherence to Huble Digital’s Quality Standard | Follow Company Best Practices: You will ensure that Huble Digital standards are adhered to and issues are escalated to management timeously and appropriately so that resolution is achieved before problems escalate.
- Overall Deliver Quality Work within the time allocated | Proactively Improve Processes & Practices: You will be expected to participate in scoping sessions to accurately translate client requirements into development hours/costs.
