Job Role Summary

As a Development Studio Manager, you will need to be highly organised and you will be responsible for supporting the development team.

You will also be responsible for liaising with software developers and internal teams. You should be able to work well under pressure and be a creative problem solver.

Working closely with the Chief Technology Officer, you will ensure that business objectives are reflected in the technical processes. You will be supporting a team of front-end developers, back-end developers, and QA specialists.

You will ensure projects are distributed in line with schedule demands, project deadlines and team capacity.

As the Development Studio Manager should be able to communicate effectively and understand technical jargon.

KEY skills we are looking for

Knowledgable

A solid understanding of ITIL (Incident, Change, Release, Problem Management) or SDLC (Agile Methodology experience would be advantageous)

Experience

A solid understanding of the Scrum Framework, experience in supporting a software development team for large commercial entities and project management

Quality Assurance

Ensuring that quality briefs are being supplied to the development team making sure all assets are available and timeframes are sensible and achievable

Project Scheduling

Acting as the main liaison between strategy and development on functionality questions/requirements within the wireframes. Liaising with any third party development suppliers

Organised

Able to organise the team using scrum/agile methodologies, work in a team environment, and meet strict deadlines.

Communication

Provide constant feedback to the team through confirming and finalising functional specs for all projects and ensuring all elements are included within the scope
