In a world where commuting time has gone from what feels like half your day to zero, social occasions are limited to virtual pub quizzes, and the thought of spending a summer evening in the pub is no more, what better way to use those spare hours in your day than to brush up on your marketing knowledge?

Well, at Huble Digital, we’ve been doing just that. Among music  - #trackspot - and other fun channels our team has on Slack, there's a Slack channel called #knowledge-share where everyone posts podcasts, webinars or virtual conferences they've been listening to and would recommend to others.

It's only been a short while and we've already seen some positive results. These podcasts, webinars and conference recordings are just 10-50 minutes, making them perfect for viewing/listening before work or during lunch, even for those who are fortunate to still be busy with their jobs! No more binging Netflix.

Many have said opting for a podcast has helped them increase their concentration as they start work and expanded their awareness of marketing updates beyond their immediate remit.

So, with the benefits reeling in, we've put together a list of suggested podcasts from the team below to keep you going through these uncertain times...

 

Marketing Over Coffee:

This podcast, aired every Friday (and lasting 20 to 30 minutes), is perfect to listen to during your Friday lunch break. However, if you're more of a morning podcast listener, like me, I'd recommend saving it and listening to it the week after: you'll enjoy it and it'll kick-start your day!

As for the content, the two presenters discuss current updates in the marketing space and as it's aired weekly, the content is always topical and very relevant.

In fact, you'll feel like you're the third person in the room with this duo. Get the latest in marketing delivered in a friendly and upbeat manner. This podcast is a must-listen for anyone who wants to keep ahead of the curve.

 

The Science of Social Media:

For those interested in social media marketing, this podcast is your go-to. Take a listen for tips on how to engage your audience through the use of effective social media marketing as the team answers your burning questions about growing your business through social media and building a brand your customers love.

It doesn't have a regular time slot as most podcasts do, so  we recommend just clicking on it and checking if there are any new episodes when you're in need of a social media knowledge boost - usually about 4 uploaded each month.

 

Marketing School - Digital Marketing and Online Marketing Tips:

Do you have just 10 minutes a day to spare? Just looking for something to listen to as you get changed in the morning? We've got you sorted!

In this particular podcast, industry entrepreneurs and marketing experts Eric Siu and Neil Patel offer short, valuable and actionable marketing tips every day.

There's no fluff and each podcast clocks in at just under 10 minutes. These podcasts are sure to make you want to kick some of your traditional strategies to the curb and will widen your knowledge of all aspects of your marketing strategy.
